Hi guys,
I am currently working on Schedules/Quantities part in Revit. However, as the number of Schedules gets bigger, I am thinking to organize them by grouping them. For instance, if I have Multi-Category Schedule 1, Multi-Category Schedule 2, Multi-Category Schedule 3,Multi-Category Schedule 4,Multi-Category Schedule 5,Multi-Category Schedule 6, then I want to group them to make it clear when Schedules are too many.
It would be really appreciated if you guys can help.
Many Thanks,
Rongqi Chen

Thank you for your reply and sorry for the confusion. What I meant was I have so many different Schedules, it would be unpleasant to see. But it would be nice to hide some of them in groups. So they can be easy to be found.
Sounds like you want duplicate schedules with different filtering rules for each. That my take on it and how I'd approach it. I don't see how this can be accomplished through one schedule.
What you show is far from too many. I have upward a hundred of schedules in a normal sized project for different purposes. Since the programmers has decided schedules and legends cannot be grouped and sorted like other views, you ought to come up with a naming convention and prefixes to organize them yourself. One good thing is the schedule titles are independent from the schedule names so you can name them however you want.
Hi..
Create a custom Project Parameter ( ex - parameter A, for Room, Area )
Edit the value for that parameter in each and every element.. ( Ex Each Room, Each Area )
Remember that this parameter needs to be well thought of, like it can be 1. TEXT, 2. Number, 3. Integer etc..
and while creating Schedule, use that Parameter A, to Sort the Schedule..
Read the description and its use..
Best luck.
