I have to make this pizza oven and I am sort of a newbie to massing and organic shapes. I thought this would be an easy revolve model but it's actually an organic shape. I'm a quick learner so if you could just give me a quick rundown on where to start, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much. (PDF of pizza oven included)
You can create it using a mass template or an adaptive generic family template. Draw profiles at different elevations, select them and create solid form. Then use a void from to cut the opening.
You could "sculpt it" out of a solid using voids. Subtractive modeling approach.
....have you Googled for one? Might get lucky. If you find one done in Sketchup, you could even use that one in Revit. But try BIMObject.com first. If that fails, try Sketchup Warehouse.
Check this out and see how I got there with Revolves, Solid Extrusion, Void Extrusion, Join and Cut Geometry. I didn't bother making dimensions accurate. That wasn't the point of this exercise.
