Hello, Im having problems designing an organic column in revit. I did the main part of the column but i cant seem to find a way to open it the way i want it (like i drew in the photo) main problem is that I dont know how to open a hole like that in a curved column. Also I cant find a way to do the design below the main column in a seamless way that connects well. I tried with features like mass, or model in place with generic model. I hope the image is clear because I dont know how to explain it very well in words. If any of you have any ideas on what features can help id be thankful.
Try the adaptive generic model family, create various profiles at different elevations, then create 2 forms from the profiles, one for the lower part, one for the upper part of the column.
Looks like something @ToanDN did a couple of days ago.
