Hello! I would be so grateful if someone could help me with this task ![]()
I want to order my sheets in the project browser by sheet number. Currently, the the order on my project browser looks a little like this:
ZZ-00-L-1100
ZZ-00-P-1100
ZZ-01-L-1110
ZZ-01-P-1110
ZZ-02-L-1120
ZZ-02-P-1120
They have been organised by prefix and I understand why Revit would automatically do this. However, is there any way that I could change it so that all the L sheets are together and the P sheets are together (without changing the sheet number)? Ideally, the order on the project browser would look like this:
ZZ-00-L-1100
ZZ-01-L-1110
ZZ-02-L-1120
ZZ-00-P-1100
ZZ-01-P-1110
ZZ-02-P-1120
Is there any way that this is possible?
Thank you in advance!
Have you looked into "Project Browser Organization"? You could group the sheets according a parameter and the sheets within that group will follow the conventional order.
As far as I know, you only have the 'all characters' or 'Leading Characters' which I don't think will help you here. You may need to sort the sheets using another parameter first and then sort by sheet number.
Add another sheet parameter, enter L or P for sheets, and sort by that parameter.
I use a Order# perimeter and just number the sheets exactly how I want them to appear. no BS to deal with you control everything.
