Opening in curved roof

Hi all,

 I am trying to do an opening in a curved roof (by face) but I can. I am pretty new using revit so what is know is the basics.

On photo below is the curved wall that I need to work with.

Pleaseeeeeeeee help me!!!!!!

Depends on how and where you need them. Some of the Opening tools can work.

Otherwise you can make a void family to do the work.

The opening is right into the curved side. I have been trying but I can't find the way to do it.
How can I make a void family with that roof?
I feel so silly asking this but I am serious when I say that I am a beginner with revit.

You can create a curved roof as an in-place family (Extrusion or Sweep) then create a void within that family that cuts the "roof"

Don't worry. The forums are here to ask and answer questions.

Attached a project with some hole examples (Revit 2016). I have used opening by face, shaft opening and created a simple void family with instance parameter for thickness.
