Autodesk Support has asked to post query here to know how to open Solid works files in Revit as i don't have active License.
I need to understand how does it works. Please help me on this to figure out to purchase the license

You can't.
But you can export IFC or STEP from SOLIFWORKS then import that into REVIT: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-open-Solidw...

I'm sorry you ran into a checked-out-for-Friday person like that, if they send you a survey aim for 0-points.
You can import Solidworks file in AutoCAD and save it as DWG to import or link in revit.
can you help to send a reply to this user joey as he was unable to post in Autodesk Forum and he was upset by posting it in forum page
