One Solid Wall Appearing in Multiple Segments

I created a new Revit model and am having issues with only the north-south aligned walls on one level. When I place the wall it becomes multiple segments- though it is one wall. It is visible in 2-d and 3-d. This is a brand new model so there shouldn't be any hidden elements intersecting it. And it is only happening on one level, in an inconsistent manner. Its not a graphics issue, as it is visible in the model in all views, and even when I close and reopen the model.

I have no idea what is going on.

As you can see below only those two walls appear in segments, although they are each one wall.

Revit Issue.JPGIn the image below you can see it in 3d. Ignore the incomplete modeling. Highlighted blue is one wall! And yet its broken up into many pieces.Revit Issue 2.JPG

Odd. Have you inspected through "Reveal Hidden Elements"?

Yes. I just created this model in the past couple of days, and have not hidden anything but I still checked and there isn't anything there.

Very curious. Love to see the file. Want to post a stripped down version of it with the offending wall?

Are there any walls created under a newer phase?

@Anonymous: still mighty curious. Did you figure it out?

That was it! Thank you. My revit template has a set of all of our wall types placed in a another phase, which should have a disclaimer. Will let the office know. Thanks again!

Solution found! The template we use has a set of walls placed in another phase...never would've thought of that.

How can that be? Are you saying that walls that don't exist in the current phase are conflicting with current phase walls?  That doesn't sound logical to me or seem possible to me. Can you tell me how to replicate that condition? Still mighty curious here.
