One segment curtain wall grid still has Invisible grids along the length

When adding Curtain wall grids and selecting ‘One Segment’ it still continues to create an Invisible cut across the curtain wall. This then splits any Mullions along that length. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Many thanks,

Diane

No. Bothers me too. Always seemed odd to me. One is one; right?  Not.

It's been 4 years since you replied to this. Have you found any solution to this?

I'm trying to make a schedule for the lengths of each curtain wall panel having a sloped top edge. As we cannot have lengths scheduled for sloped top edge, I tried scheduling mullions instead as I only need the lengths and count. This solves the problem. But as soon as I add a single-segment grid to make a window or a door, the grid splits all the mullions in two, making this whole process useless.

So if there's a way where the horizontal grid doesn't split the vertical mullions, I'd be able to get my schedules right.
