one particular linked object won't show in only "detail call outs"

Hi,

I am working with a revit file linked with a structural model. When I made a detail callout, it won't show structural columns from the linked model. I can see beams from the same file, but not the columns.. so I made an area plan callout then it shows up.. BTW, I assigned the same view template to both views.. Can anybody help?

Have you try to set detail level to FINE.thanks

Try the following:

It could be on a workset that is switched off.

It could be hidden in the view.

It could be the view range.

Note that a view template may not affect the setting that is hiding the column, as the category might not be included in the View Template.

Maybe setting the Link's representation in the Parent View to a BY LINK VIEW would help.  Are you familiar with this?

Hi,

Were you able to resolve this? I am currently having the same problem. Just the columns missing in detail callout views. Checked all visibility settings.
