On sheet: cant snap to frame of drafting views

When i'm editing a sheet: it's possible to snap to normal viewports like plans.

But there is no snap for drafting views!

how should i align all the viewports when some of them are drafting views?

Do you have the Show Title parameter of the Viewport type assigned to your Drafting Views and Plan Views set to Yes or When multiple viewports?  If so, the Drafting Views should snap-align to other Viewports, Title to Title.  Is that not what you want to align?  If not, what do you want to align?  You may want to look into Guide Grids.

Thank for your answer.

i'm not talking about titles but on snap to the frame of the drafting view.

Hi, I am having the same problem. Is there someone who can help/advise?

I want to align my "drafting views" frame to other multiple "drafting view" frames that I have on a sheet of details. Guide Grids is not ideal, as the default grid is equal, and my office standards require the detail sheet grid to be unequal size grid. Example detail boxes are 9" wide by 7" high.

Any suggestions? Thankyou.

Draw a horizontal or vertical reference plane in each drafting view then you can snap them to each other and to any linework on sheet.

It does. Did you draw a ref plane in the view you want to snap?

Yes, I did add reference planes to the drafting views. I then placed the drafting views on a sheet and tried to use the Align command but that did not work. Next, I tried moving them and that did not work either. Is there a special command I need to use? BTW I am using Revit 2019.

There is no special command. Select the drafting view on sheet and Move, then snap an end/intersection point of the reference plane to any linework on sheet such as the titleblock borderline, or an end/intersection point of the reference plane of another view.
