offset wall footings turning corner

When creating an offset wall footing (eccentric) and turning corner, the footing always extends beyond the turn. Can't drag it back to zero. If you unjoin it, the corner does not fill in properly or not at all. A 90 degree corner is bad but a sharper (120) or wider (60) corner is worse. Besides making a void or another object to remove the overrun, shouldn't there be a "real" fix? The first wall group shows footing centered on wall, the second, offset to one side, third is offset to the other side.wallftg.JPG

You can fix 90 degree corners easily using grips. Unfortunately you need to lengthen the wall footing and use void to cut the overrun at non 90 degree corners. Some chooses to model it using Slab for flexibility.

Try different Wall Joins too. Sometimes that's all it takes.
