OFFSET MULLION PROFILE WITHOUT CREATING ADDITIONAL GRIDS

Hi Everyone,

I have a design detail where I need to offset 2 mullion profiles on the same curtain wall grid at the point where they join.  Visually, this should create a separation or break between the 2 different mullion profiles.  However, I'm hoping there is a way to do this without creating extra grids and then deleting pieces of mullion.  The mullion are modeled using the mullion profile family. This detail occurs multiple times along the vertical surface of a 215m curtain wall facade, hence I dont wish to add further grids.

Grateful for any help on this.

Thanks,

do you want to make some thing like expiation joint? , if so , you have to add another grid with mullion & assign the small panel between them as empty or edit the family of the panel it self and add in it what you want
