Offset compound wall layer to follow roof slope

Hello

Is it possible to have the finish layer of a compound wall extend to cover the sides of the roof slope? Can it still be attached to the roof this way?

I have`nt found a way yet.

Thanks!

Yes. Add another roof above the roof you have and attach the wall to both roofs.  Then hide the upper roof or move it to another phase.

For future reference, you can also use a Ref. Plane as the target for Attach Top/Base, however in this case, I would  model the roof finished layer(s) as a separate roof as @ToanDN said.

I did try with a ref plane but in my case, the plane would need to be double tilted so the top of the wall is parallel to the face of the roof. If I make a section view perpendicular to the roof plane and then add a ref plane on that view, I think it could do the trick?

Thanks, that seems to be a good way since it is also closer to the actual built structure since you would have a flashing at the intersection edge between roof and wall
