Obtaining family file skylight.rfa

I need the skylight.rfa (24" x 27" specifically) file. I have many types under the Windows folder but not the skylight.rfa my textbook is asking for. Is there anyway to get this particular family only?

Note, because of my lack of hard drive space, when installing Revit 2020, I think I declined to install one of the rather large libraries, I think it had the words "medium and/or resolution" but I can't say for sure. I am hoping not to do a re-install for this so asking here in hopes I can find it.

Do you see anything listed in "...\Libraries\English-Imperial\Windows" for skylights?

As for the resolution... sounds like you declined to install the materials library.

Also, to free up disk space, I would recommend clearing out as much as possible from your %temp% folder.

Do you need Skylight families or certain type?

If you want Skylight Families then you ca find them on several sites. A good bunch of them in: BIMobject

I mainly just need something that's 24" x 27" and that will work with Revit 2020. Something like the Skylight-Flat.rfa would be ideal. My instructor wouldn't care of it's a bit different than what the book wants. Out of the Skylights I have none are 24" x 27".

Screenshot of skylights I have:

Yes, I see these: skylight.jpg

But none are 24" x 27". I will say, I just starting learning Revit so I know next to nothing about the software. I decided to take it as an elective in a commercial design class. Maybe I can adjust the size, but I don't think I can. I can use about any skylight as long as it's the right size. It's an  exercise I am doing in the textbook that asks for this particular skylight. Thanks!

Every single one of the OOTB Revit Skylight Families have Parameters that control the Height and Width of the unit.  Open one and create a 24" x 27" Family Type and then change the Height and Width Dimension Values accordingly.

One other point...what you are looking at are Family Names -- not Type Names. 12" x 27" is a Type Name.

For instance the OOTB Skylight-Flat.rfa has all these TYPES (e.g. sizes) predefined:

Oh! I see what you are saying. Wow, I think I might need to do more reviewing and way less drawing/modeling as I probably should have known that by now. haha

Thank you though! And thanks to everyone else for the help.
