Objects not visible when importing CAD file in Revit

I'm trying to import a CAD file in Revit but some objects are not visible.

The object are visible in the preview box (see below) but are not once placed in Revit.

All layers are visible in the Visibility/Graphics for the imported file (see below).

I've tried exploding, purging, and placing the objects on multiple layers prior to importing but they are still not visible.

Please advise.

Upload (relevant part of) your cad file, then we can have a look.

Which Autocad and which Revit version are you using?

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

This could be the problem. Importing into CAD into Revit is not always a good practice. Not all objects can be imported. What are the objects that are not importing.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

@L.Maas Thank you for your reply.  Please see attached CAD file (2018) and I`m using 2019 Revit.  Are the varying program  versions an issue?

Thanks,

Travis

Thanks for your reply @RobDraw.  To be more precise, I`ve tried linking the CAD file as well as importing and the objects do not show up in either case.  The objects in question are just exploded linework and I`ve tried placing them on multiple layers with no effect.

Those drawings are not drawn 1:1. One of the limitations of importing is that Revit won't do anything less than 1/32".

Scale up the drawing to see if that helps.

Drawings are 1:1 in model space so I don`t think this is the issue.

run a recover on the file in Autocad, then try linking it into Revit. when i did that it worked (it had 2 errors in the file)
