I am having some trouble exporting a project to dwg.
I have some structural columns that I have chosen to represent in my sheets with a surface pattern solid fill gray. The result I wanted when I export this to DWG is to see this gray fill on the surface of the columns. The tricky thing is: I need to show all the lines (cut and projection) in index color (255 colors) as a pre requisite of the client.
Is there anyway I can do this?
This is what looks like my sheet and my export. I'd like that the "red" solid filled hatch looked "gray" all through the project like the sheet drawing.
Select those elements and override their surface pattern in view to sold gray. Even they will look like what you already have, the export will be different.
Yeah, I did find that answer when I was looking for it in another forums. But I have a very complex set of views, with many views and a lot of elements that I need to show in a colored solid fill pattern. I was wondering if the solution for this would be in the export setup or in a dynamo routine that set all elements in all views overriden by the color in the elements material.
Thanks for the answer.
