Hi alll,
I've been working on the quality control of my company Revit templates and families.
This process implicated a review of all our Revit families, that implied change some sub-categories and line styles, in order to assign a new codification. After that, I have reload all families to the template and delete the old object styles and line styles.
Now, the problem is that sometimes, when I do a reload of some families, the old object styles sub-categories and old line styles, keep reappearing on the template, even no longer exist inside the families.
Have this problem occured with some of you?
Thank you.

What might happen is the following.
Imagine you open a generic family template, then create some object styles.
Then you decide to change category, lets say specialty equipment. You create new object styles.
When you load this family into the project the object styles of the generic model category will also be imported. (into the generic model category of the project)
When you edit the family you will only see the the object styles of the category specialty equipment.
Only when you switch the family back to the generic model category you will see those object styles.
I imagine something like this is happening. Can be a tedious proces to find out. Might be that you are able to do something with Dynamo to speed up this proces

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Hi @Anonymous.
I have checked and really find a family with one of the wrong sub-categories detected on the model.
As you said, the complete solution will be a tedious process, but at least I know the origin of the problem.
Thank you very much.
