I hope to revive this thread a bit.
I am considering buying a laptop with NVIDIA GTX1050 with 2gb and 8GB ram.
The 13" Surface Book 2 in particular.
I wonder what is your experience with this? I may not do that much rendering, but mostly, just 3d modelling, photoshop, indesigbn and some other necessary stuff.
Does Revit run smooth on your laptop in 3D mode? Can you work smoothly even with attached7reference files?
I'm considering the 15" with 1060 with 6GB video card, although it is almost 500 usd more expensive. I am bothered more with the size though, I feel like 15" is too big and heavy to carry around.
