Nurbs in revit

Hi when import nurbs object in revit he read in nurbs or convert the object in polygonal?

Comparing the model Made in rhino, and then imported into revit, the revit models seems less clean and linear, more serrated.

Take a look here:

https://www.lynda.com/Revit-tutorials/SATRhino-import/578063/604774-4.html

It should be noted that Rhino, 3dsMax, Maya, and other 3d programs handle complex/compound curves differently than Revit. Using Revit's Conceptual Massing Tools will help you to be able to generate Revit elements such as roofs, walls, floors, curtain systems, etc.--from imported models created in these other apps.
