Nosing Length just shrinks the stair

As you can see in the pictures. Nosing Lenght really not shrink the stair but rather send the stair backward(but it's kinda the case with landing)which I find it very weird, is there anyway I can just extend the nosing??

I'm using custom stair nose for now, but would also like to know if there is another way

Change the Actual Tread Depth.

Basically, decide tread depth and then decide how much of the tread is overhanging the riser (e.g. nosing).

In the settings shared, it looks like your project settings are in m. Your screenshot shows a nosing that is roughly 8" which is correct. Change your nosing length to a smaller value, say 0.02 and see if that brings your stairs back into 'normal range'.
