non-printed text

Hello all:

Is there a way to create text on screen that is suppressed or hidden on paper? IE, I want to see the text on screen but not when printed.

Hi,

if you are referring to a "non-plot" style text like autocad the answer is no.  There is a post on Revit ideas here

I don't think voting will give this feature any traction. As has been said already it is a wish list item that has been around forever. 

I would set up a working view template than can be applied to the printing view using temporary view overrides.

...or rule-based filter...and a stern warning to uncheck filter before printing.

I have a Dynamo to turn off a specific text style before printing and another to turn it back on after.
