Non-extrusion Mullion and alternate panels.

Guys,

I have a curtain wall system that alternate every two panels. In real world, It's really that there's a longer fin (with a panel attached to it's end) attached to every other mullion. How should I model it? I understand the logic of nest curtain walls but this wont really work since this fin is not a profile-mullion. Instead it's a 3D panel piece that I made it into. Please see images.

@bd2427  why are you trying to make the 'protrusion" (the flat plate with 6 fasteners to brackets) a part of the curtain wall? In real life it would be a fenestration, an added appendage on the exterior of the curtain wall, sort of like a sunscreen. Without much other detail than your screen shots I would make separate curtain walls for the main wall, the exterior fins (maybe two types if the horizontal and vertical fins are on different planes) then handle the appendages with parametric GMs. I'm assuming that you are not an Architect just providing general design direction and need to be able to schedule parts and pieces to get them to fabrication. If that's an incorrect assumption let me know as it does make a difference. I've done several projects with similar details to what I think you are doing but frankly would rather not share the details on a public forum. I don't frequent this forum very much so don't know if there is a PM system. If there is, message me and I'll arrange to get you some info.
