To whom it may concern,
I am teaching a building energy modeling course at Master´s level. I have an issue with the Location Weather and Site window in Revit 2018. I opened today the file that I am using for the course. The Weather Station and the Location map are showing in the Location Weather and Site window. This looks fine!
Nevertheless, my students did not have the same result on last Tuesday´s class. Moreover, they found that there is a checkbox on the Weather Tab. You are including the data from the closest weather station to the building for the analysis once you check mark this. So, the previous Weather Station column did not appear on their files. What are your comments about this? Could it be the software updates, the software version (2018, 2019....2020) or something else?
Any comments will be highly appreciated,

Comments? TGIS. Thank God it's Saturday. Tuesday wasn't a good day for me either. **** happens. How's everything going now?

The problem seems to be still around after a couple of weeks of posting the first message. The file that I have is showing the Weather Station Window in the Location Weather and Site (in Revit 2018). But, one of my students has Revit 2019 and no Weather Station Window is showing in the Location Weather and Site. Could it be the version? Any comments will be highly appreciated!

This same problem also happened with me, but then I found out the solution that it happens whenever we access the location without being signed in with the Autodesk verified account.
So, to get rid off from this problem signed in with the Autodesk verified account then the weather station options will start appearing.
