I just installed r2020. r2019.2 works fine. I can find no way to open A360 files.
Here is the interface in r2019 https://drive.google.com/a/designbuildllc.com/file/d/1RT5djMSXDEE12ry_jERfqrJL5rtAAgbk/view?usp=driv...

How do I connect new install of r2020 to A360 files and folders?
Have you upgraded the projects to r2020 yet? This topic

as opposed to previously when you open the model (that I feel should be visible but is not) Revit asks if you want to upgrade to the version in which you are working. That is how it has always worked, to open a model in a previous version, you could SEE them in the "OPEN" dialog. Now I can't.
The link you included suggests I upgrade the entire folder. I am reluctant to do so, if it is going to result in nothing showing up in the model / open link. Are you saying the converting the entire folder is the only way to open in the new r2020?
Yes, the project hosting on BIM 360 needs to upgrade as well. Revit changes with each release, so does the hosting environment and tool set. They provided the project level upgrading to speed up the process of moving to a new release.
