Hi,
I am a beginer in Revit although I am quite experienced architect . Does anybody know how to create irregular recess in a generic wall? It should look like on attached file.
Regards
Jack

Component > Model in place > Create void volumes as needed > Cut geometry > select the wall, select the voids. Finish Model in place.
@seamea12: Looks like a concave arched recess. Here's a family I posted yesterday for another forum member's consideration. It may also be helpful to you. It's a fully parametric concave arched passsgeway, but you could easily modify it to not cut all the way through the wall.
There are several ways to go about this. Depends on your comfort/skill level. The easiest way would probably be just to create two walls. In other words, create a wall to host your door, and another wall, in front of that wall, to host your concave arch wall opening.
..I notice you're an architect. Great! Model it the same way it will be constructed in the field. You can visualize that, right?
If you needed a door, then that should have been the question.
You can create a door that cuts the door in that way. No need to do a model in-place void first to put a door afterwards.
