New to Revit LT 2025 from AutoCAD LT

Hi everyone,

 

I did run into an issue with linking a Revit model sent to us recently. I linked their model to a new built in project file and only saw gridlines and nothing else. In 3D I do see their model but I can't figure out the visibilty of the other floors.

 

Is this because of the way they sent us the file? Was it limited in any way? Is it me just not knowing how to make their floor levels visible?

 

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Check the Phasing in your project as well as the view range; it could potentially be affected by phase filters or your cutting plane and view depth.

I would also try placing a section and making the view depth as deep as you can make it. Do this for each direction. See what Revit shows you. I wonder if the link came in at a different elevation then your template?

 

Do youknow if the other model is using Shared Coordinates? Design Options?
