Nested Generic Annotations - Adjust Visibility Setting over many families - Revit

We have a library of multiple thousand Food Service Equipment families. In these families we have various nested Generic Annotation families. The lines in these Generic Annotation families are placed on sub-categories so we, and the architects we work with, can easily turn off the Generic Annotation families via View Templates. But we work with one architect who insists that the visibility of the Generic Annotations be controlled by Coarse/Medium/Fine detail levels.
Any ideas on how to update our library without opening every Food Service Equipment family and adjusting the visibilty settings of the nested Generic Annotation family? I was hoping to adjust the Generic Annotation families on their own and use something like the CTC Family Loader to load them back into the Food Service Equipment families but can't figure out a way to do so.
I've attached an example family.
