Nested family Parameters

I'm sorry if this comes out overcomplicated, I have a bad habit of that. But I have a table with multiple(4) Backsplash options, because of that I also have the same number of Lip options. I want to be able to cycle through backsplash options, and have the lip change accordingly. I know how to do the visibility option, but only with 2 choices. I tried nested families hoping I can tie a parameter to the embedded families with no luck. I've attached a sample of the family.

Load all types of family you will need (the 4 ones)
Place and parametrize one of them. Now you can select it and create a label for your nested family.
That label becomes a parameter you can now choose the family you want.

I did that at first, but it picked up all the families I had inserted. Or is there a way to limit the choices in the Formula? Then can I assume using an 'if' parameter to drive the lip choice based on the back splash choice?

Name the nested families with proper prefix + name so that they are easily to select from the type selector dropdown.  Or change them to different category if you can.
