Need To Create a Physical Model

My semester project requires that I create a physical model of a house I have designed and I would love to use a 3d printer, but the professor demands that everything be cut and pasted by hand.

I created a model of my project on Revit, but was wondering by a long shot if it were possible to explode and align every single component of the building so that I could print them out..?

I figured that it would be easier and faster to pasted and cut along the guidelines.

I am not familiar with the terminilogy and have a feeling that I may not be being clear, so here is an example of what I want to do with my revit file:

The term you are probably looking for is unfolding. No Revit does not have that tool available. I am not aware of add-ins which could help you with this.

I know that other people have gone the route to create (many) diffferent views so that each drawing can be exported to CNC software.

These unfolding tools are more common for product design software like inventor were they use sheet metal and these type of tools come in handy to unwrap an itme into a flat piece of material

So you could check if one of the routes could work for you (drawings or exporting to different software)
