Hello Revit users,
I need to add few custom parameters to Revit revision clouds. However, this is not possible using standard Revit functions ( the add parameter to revit cloud is grayed out).
Requirements:
New parameter field that says if the rev cloud represents : Area in abeyance, Issues, and Approved change. This parameter would be later used to colour the rev clouds using dynamo.
New parameter that adds info about specific change number the rev cloud is about. This is the system we use in our firm.
New 2 parameters that says the approximate location of the Rev cloud using the Grid lines within the project ( ie. A-3)
New parameter for Checked by and Date
If anybody knows of any way in which this would be possible, please let me know. If this would be possible by going into C# or python or ruby and developing an addon or script, please let me know.
Ideally I would like for this to work with the built in Revision window in revit. I know many other people are looking to solve this problem too.
Im using Revit 2020.
Regards,
Wojciech.
Yes, I used them all up ( there is only 6 parameters). Combining is out of the question because I will need to schedule them properly in Revision Schedule. I will need around 10 parameters. I don't understand why Revit developers wouldn't give us such funstionality OOTB.
