so im trying to make tilted column effect on 8 story building facade which will continue on other two facades and i cant make it happen properly properly because i dont know how to make it look good on corners. it kinda looks janky. any suggestions ?
supposing that I understood your question, why don't you make a column that just goes from Level 0 to Level 8?
Constantin Stroescu
that wouldn't look too "janky", @constantin.stroescu? he, he.
P.S. I have no idea what "janky" looks like. ![]()
i want something like this but corners needs to be merged and i have no idea how to model it
Don't use Wall Sweeps. Sweep; yes. But, model it In-Place. All of it. Have you tried that?
yeah ive tried it but sweep wont let me choose another plane for each wall faces
Draw Model Lines on each face first and then start In-Place Sweep and select the Model Lines for your Sweep Path. Tried that?
Mass Form:
I couldn't get it to work as an In-Place Model. It was Janky. Use In-Place Mass.
oh, thanks for that. i actually tried in place mass but didnt achieved what i wanted. can you tell me me exactly what did you do ? i placed reference lines on each wall then set the plane drew rectangle and it swept along the lines but because of that plane i set at the begging it messed on other wall faces. your modeling looks just perfect
