Need help modelling stair's first riser

Good evening. I have a monolithic staircase which I need to begin above the red line, eliminating the first step and starting just with the riser. Does anybody know how to do so?

Edit Stair > select the run > Check Start with Riser.

BTW: it must have been the milk I drank.  I mixed low-fat with some pasteurized.  Thank God I didn't dip a cookie in it. 😉
