My Revit 2018 Student version doesn't open!!!

When i click in the icon just appears the initialisation window of the revit 2018 and then it suddenly closes, saying anything wrong.

Please sign in to your desktop app and install the latest update and hotfix for Revit 2018 

Let me know if you are able to launch Revit once you run the updates.

I just wanted to follow up here, any progress on this issue?

 

  • If not, please try perform a clean uninstall. More information HERE
  • Before reinstalling please empty you temp folder by entering %TEMP% in the Address bar of Windows Explorer.
  • See HERE for related information on How to Complete a Clean Install and Uninstall of Revit products

Hi, 

 

I agree with @Viveka_CD,

 

In addition something as simple as trying to rick click and run as administrator can sometimes solve it. 

If non of our suggestions worked it might be worth running it clean from addins and extension - especially if you have third party applications interfering with the Revit client. 

 

But if it comes to that let me know and I'll guide you through it, or we might setup a call,

Hey, thanks for the reply. I tryed to install the latest version from the app and it didnt worked, but deleting and installing again from the website it runned without any problem, took some time from me buts it was ok haha, thanks one more time for the attention!
