I have checked the graphics settings, the wall and material transparency are all set to zero. Yet I have this in this project in 3d or in plan views and even sections. I have opened other projects and they are fine, it is just this one. Need an answer urgent please?

Are the views set to Wireframe?
Looks like a graphics card/3D view hiccup. Try creating a new 3D view and see if it goes away.
-Do you have any Cad files linked or imported into your Revit file? If so, and if they have an Origin very far away from Revit's internal Origin, odd graphics behavior can happen.
-Also try turning on/off Hardware Acceleration under R buttion>Options>Graphics
as well as updating graphics driver as already mentioned.

No they aren't and why I am so annoyed at this. I never use wireframe really and have rechecked it many times. I have even used Shared or Realistic and still the same. rechecked the graphics settings and materials, I even set up new walls from scratch and still the same. I have another problem also and that is at varying time going from view the model disappears into the distance and I have to select and zoom into it again, again. I have done all updates and even followed some suggestions with other forum posts and still no change.

Thank you so much cbcarch, the problem appears to be a DWG file was in the background and until I deleted it stayed the same, So I have now deleted the DWG and it instantly corrected. Thank you so much for this assistance.
