I'm new to Revit. My Level panel is greyed out. I've switched everything on and off to see if it will light up, no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?
What do you mean by "level panel"? If you refer to the icon for creating levels being greyed out, it is because it is available only in elevations and section views, and you are probably trying to create a level from a floor plan view.
My level icon is greyed out as well, even when I go to project browser click on elevations to east, west, north and south. it shows to levels and doesn't allow me to add levels (greyed out)
By go to&click, do you actually mean opening this view or just clicking it in browser?...
Figured it out out need to double click on east, west, south or north to open up that elevation.
I tried all the above suggestions but it still grayed out. How can I fix it?
"It" is greyed out, what are we talking about? Adding levels under datum tab? Open a section or elevation view...

I have a hard time understand some of you @mbmajeed @Anonymous thought process. If you are not in a section or an elevation view but a floor plan view, what would you possibly do even if the Level button were available?
Maybe it could be drawn with a rectangle and assigning an elevation. It's not possible in Revit but it's not a stretch to imagine a new user to think it could be possible.
