Hi, I can't attach my gable wall to the top of the roof. The base constraint only goes up to second floor, there is no roof line option.
Note: I am new to Revit.

Hi,
Sorry I forgot to say that doing that is doing absolutely nothing, so I am out of ideas.
In the screenshots it looks like the wall is currently attached to a hipped roof (in a previous phase?)
If this is the case, you will need to put a new wall on top of the existing one and attach that to the new roof.
Sorry does that mean you want me to attach the whole file?
I'm new to this ha
Hi Alex yes this sounds correct.
How do I put a new wall on top of the existing? Because when I do, it doesn't actually become a gable wall it just becomes a big square wall protruding from the roof.
Try dragging the base of the new wall slightly lower until it will let you attach it to the roof
I disallowed join on both ends of the new wall, aligned it to the front and rear walls, attached it to the roof, and joined it to the wall below (making sure to switch the join order to keep the existing wall untouched)
