As I understand you want to place a thumbnail of a View in the Title Block..

In order to do this:

  • Duplicate the View you intent to use as image
  • Change the scale so to have a smaller image (for instance 1/500), use VGO and Graphic Display Option so to get the desired result
  • Create a View Template from this View so to preserve the settings. Call it Thumbnail , for instance..You will be able to use this View Template in future projects if you incorporate it into a File Template
  • You can insert as it is on a Sheet, but it is not  a very good idea because it will spoil the Scale display from your Title Block
  • So, Export the View either as an Image or as CAD file ( Image is a better choice if you want to use a shaded display and/or shadows)
  • Open the Title Block Family and insert here the Image or the CAD file. Adjust the scale and position so to fit your purpose.
  • Load Title Block File into the Project.
