Hello,
We have a model where we have 2-5 people in the model at one time. The entire model has been drafted in the architectural workset. We are running into an issue of only one person being able to work without the others syncing every move. I have set up everyone on different worksets and only one workset is editable per person. Still happening.
What are we doing wrong?
nothing wrong here. worksket is a good way to separate task or region in a project. your team need to understand even if they modify only their elements in their workset, it is possible that certain elements also lead to the modification of other elements in the other sub-projects. ex : wall connection to another wall.
This is where I am not too familiar with it. I am not sure if I am owning or Borrowing. When I just have one workset set editable, I am the owner. Each other person does the same with a different Workset.
This is what it looks like. Right now I do not have anyone in the model so I cant show it with multiple people.

You are owning the Architectural Workset which you should not. Highlight teh workset and click Non-editable button to release it. Then sync.
Okay I got another person in the model and we both did that and I still had to have him sync for me to add a new wall...

Are you adding walls in a model group?
Negative. Right now only one person is allowed to model anything at one time. There must be something wrong.
Nope. Then that should be fine.
Can you invite me in private? I will take a look on my lunch time.
Sorry for the late response. I think I found the issue. Right now we have design options set up. We only have one option set and 3 options. We are all trying to work in option 3. Is that the issue?

Yes.
i would suggest to fixed the "untouched" design in the MAIN MODEL.
then create a new option set (like Area - A) and keep the primary EMPTY as long as you didnt decide the final design.
then add new options in the option SET A, like 1,2,3 so each person CAN design in their option. remember to keep the primary option untouched.
