Multicategory schedule with different Parameters

I am trying to gather the thickness parameters (in built ones) from wall and floor get it listed with a Multi category schedule.

It seems however these parameters are not listed since they are not the same for these categories. Then i tried creating a shared parameter and hoped to link (Shared_Thickness=Thicknes) the thickness parameter of walls and floors. It does not seem to allow it.

Any idea how i can tackle this?

the goal is to have one list where i can read the thickness of walls and floors.

Hi @prasadienator ,

Referencing other parameters (formula) can only be done in the Family itself (FamilyEditor).

As this is a system family, this isn't possible.

Are System families now supported in multicategory schedules?

You would need API / Dynamo tool to push the thickness value into the custom parameter.

Yes, they are supported since 21 i guess. But not all parameters are visible.

API/Dynamo will have to be rerun every time before export so it all stays updated.

Sad, i was hoping to be wrong...
