Multi-width parapet cap coping

Hello - I am trying to model a component to transition between my multi-width parapet caps, which occur at two different types of wall conditions on my parapet. 

The cap needs to work like the wireframe shown:

The orange profile is narrower than the purple. 

How can i create the extrusion?

Try to change the wall joint to Miter see if it helps. Or, worst case, create two voids, each one cuts one cap, right at the miter joint.

A Line based Generic model extrusion with an Angle cut at the end/start points is what I would use.

However, it depends on how you modeled yours. For instance if you are using built in wall sweeps or if you used Fascias or Slab Edges (like many do for scheduling purposes), these clean up easily by simply using Join Geometry.

That's doesn't work for internal corners though.

an easy way to do this is to create two roofs by extrusion ( with the thickness of the cap) and Join them
