I added some parameters to my grid head, but the parameter data wont show, only the stock name will show. If I select the grid, the parameter data shows but then ghosts again once I unselect the grid. The parameters show for single segment grids, just not multi-segment grids. (Revit 2019)

That's because you are sketching the grid line. Just add elbow and will work:

It must be a multi-segment grid. I'm aware it works for single segment grids, I need it to work for multi-segment grids.

@jvpantin2 the actual grid must follow the multi-segment path, it cant just appear as if it follows that path graphically because an elbow was added.

Not sure why yet.  Are you using these grids to substitute Matchlines?

Meanwhile, you can draw a multi-segment grid as multi single-segment grids.

I got the point. But, for what do you need this for? Use of Matchline instead, maybe?

Yes, Im trying to find some solutions to matchlines inability to show in elevations, and be dimension-able. I know I can do multiple single line segments but I was trying to avoid that if we could get it resolved as to why a multi-segment grid cant show additional parameters added to the head. Are you thinking this is just a system thing that has no solution?

Matchlines are displayed in elevations, but they are not dimension-able, indeed. But why do you need to dimension from a matchline? Overlap matchline on generic gridlines? Picking and constraining line segments? Best of both worlds...

Not the same matchline, you must draw a new match line. So you must add reference planes, draw matchlines, lock them to the ref planes, repeat that process in elevation. And print ref planes to keep dimensions, which is not what I wanted if avoidable. All of that is fine if its the only option, but you see how simple a multi-segment grid would be, it takes care of all those items in one element, unfortunately it doesn't allow additional labels. But I just wanted to see if I was doing something wrong, but it appears its just a system family limitation. Thanks for the comments. 👍

Why would you dimension match lines?
