Mullions not intersecting issue

Hi all! was wondering if anyone knows how to make these horizontal mullions connect to my vertical mullion? right now there is a visible gap which i want to avoid. I have tried using the make continuous/break at join option BUT it just cuts with the gap the vertical mullion instead. Anyone knows how to get around this?

Edit the mullion profile and move the profile so that the wider part doesn't intersect the horizontal plane.

thanks for the reply, i have tested this but it still does not work. Is seems that the most wide part of the mullion is read as reference, not the thin part

You aren't able to get there using Toggle Mullion Join?

Maybe use two curtain walls.

thanks for the reply. that would be the last resort of course, but having to maintain  2 curtain walls will make things waaay more complex, so i was trying to solve the situation with 1 curtain wall

I'll second @ToanDN suggestion. Use a curtain wall with only vertical mullions and empty panels combined with a curtain wall with horizontal mullions and panels ... or vice versa (panels with vertical mullions). This way you get the look you're after. Make the second curtain wall not room bounding. Adjust the mullion offset so you can place the curtain wall so it doesn't have to sit on top of the other wall in the exactly the same position so it is easier to edit later, if necessary.

I do this sort of thing with railings quite often to get what we want... I guess if you get used to a solution it isn't complicated anymore 🙂

hi all, eventually i have made a custom panel that has the horizontal mullions in it. in this was i have a curtain wall with only vertical mullions and a custom panel. We will see how that goes. We have used in the past the solution you mention ( having 2 walls paralele) BUT it because a huge hassle to maintain in official drawings
