Hi, I try to make a mullion where the curtainpanel will insert at an 10 degree angle.

Is there any why to make for example the center refrence plane is on 10 degree angle on both sides of the profile?

Attached is an screenshot of what I try to achieve, and the model I the mullion is in.

Can't you use an L-Corner Mullion for that?

With an L profil its not possible to insert an 'real' profil (see screenshot).

Or am I wrong?

What about creating a custom Mullion Type for that specific angle?  Duplicate existing Type and change the Angle Parameter Value of that new Type.

I tried that, but the thing with that solution is that one side of the mullion will connect gooed, but the other on is just cutting trough the profile. And if possible it would be nice that the curtainpanels on both sides of the mullion will connect nicely to the profile.

Yeah, I see. It's a challenge for sure.  Why model such an "ornate" mullion? Why not Details for this?  Anyhow, I don't readily see a straight-forward and easy approach. Maybe Beams? Dunno.  I do know that I would use a L-Corner Mullion in the meantime.

Yes, you're correct. This would be beter as een detail. But the architect, want a detailed mullion for in the projectfile.

But I will discus, this further.

Anyways thanks for you time.

This sound like something that could work.

But this is an new idea for me. How do you nest a profile in a L bracket?

That's not what I suggested.

you could use a custom rectangular mullion using a Half mullion Profile .When put together we'll have a complete mullion...

Yes your right. But then still you have the problem that the profile can only be used for specific angles.

Thanks for trying to help, but I think i'll just let it slide 🙂
