Moving site project survey point to get spot elevations

Hey guys really struggling here. I have a site project. I have 2 projects linked to it using shared sites. The survey point was never moved vertically or had an elevation associated with it. Now we are trying to get spot elevations to work and they obviously don't. My first thought was that I should unclip he survey point and move it down to negative 1222' so my building floor elevation reads right but that didn't work because my spot elevation wont report how high it is in relation to that point even though it is set to survey point under edit type. Next I tried leaving it clipped and moving the survey point down. This made the spot elevation read right but it brought one of the building projects down with it. Not sure why it would only bring one. Both projects 'acquired' the site project's coordinates from their respective projects. What is the right way to do this? Thanks.

If you are using shared coordinates then DO NOT mess with the survey point when it is clipped.  Moving it unclipped is okay but it will not change relationship with levels or spot elevations.

What you need to do is to edit the spot elevation type and change Elevation base to what you prefer.

Okay, so a lot of info here. Let's confirm a few things.  The Project you want to make all these changes in is the SITE Project/Parent Project; correct? And the Links in this Site/Parent Project originally got there coordinates from the Site Project by Linking the Site into those Projects and Acquiring Coordinates of the Site Link; correct? You didn't actually move the Site first? If so, it sounds like the Site Survey Point is a Sea Level (e.g. 0'-0") and you want the Links at at elevation in relationship to Sea Level. So, the move the Links up and Reconcile (e.g. Publish back) their new position in relationship to the Site's Sea Level.
