Moving ribbon to bottom of screen

Hello:

Is there any way to move the ribbon to the bottom of the Revit window?

I wear bifocal glasses and with large monitors I have to tilt my head way back to focus at the top edge of the screen.  Doing so constantly is causing me fatigue and pain.

I know that I can move the Options bar to the bottom but frankly doing that without also moving the tool ribbon would actually be worse.

Thanks for any help.  AutoDesk:  please consider this a feature request if it is not currently possible.

Same here. I feel your neck pain. I wear trifocals (progressives) and generally sit way, way too close to my 32-inch monitor - a bad habit I picked up as a kid. he, he.

I gather that 2 years later this still isn't a thing?  My neck is killing me.  And I too got all hopeful when I read about the Options bar, but I agree, that's worse.

You probably want to add this to the Ideas forum if you haven't yet, and please share a link to that here once its posted.

Autodesk needs to put some major investment in the overall UI of Revit. We're allegedly getting a dark mode option soon (next release? next decade? who knows) , but yea, the overall layout of the UI should be more customizable.

You can perhaps develope a complete set of key shortcuts.

OR get a game mouse (the ones with 12 extra large buttons). They are on sale at best buy, but get the ones with little dots on the buttons so you can feel the different keys.
