How and why this happen can be save for another chat...![]()
Way into the project...we found a discrepancy between the precasters grids and architectural grids. Precaster (uses AutoCAD)
Precast placed their grids on the exterior face of wall. While Arch. placed them in the center of the wall.
After Arch. agreed that they will change their grids to match Precaster...(don't wonder why)...I jumped and said piece of cake! I have revit on my side!
O.K. ... after 30 min and not finding a good approach....I'm asking the question...How would you take care of this mess?
Copying and creating new grids?
Thank you for taking the time to ponder with me.

It sounds as though the wall centerline is locked to the grids....if that is the case you can select Reveal Constraints on the View Control Bar and remove the constraint, then you can move the grid without moving the wall.
