moving entire model / relocate project tool and internal origin point.

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help.

I have inherited a model for work which has the model and all its elements a long way from the internal origin point. I was wondering if there was a way to basically move everything so its either 'on' the internal origin point or close to it as im having a lot of issues with this model. Thus far ive been using work arounds etc to continue my work but ive decided I really should just clean this all up from a coordinates stand point.

I have tried the relocate project tool, but that doesn't work as it just moves everything relative to the point ive moved it to with the tool.

I hope what I am asking is making sense, but i get a feeling that this is a very easy (dumb) question to ask or might not even be possible, or it might not even be needed to be done? I just ask as I am having a number of weird issues occur and during my own research have found out that having a model far away from the internal origin point is not a good idea.

Picture is below, it might be hard to see as its far away. what you can see is a few dwg imports, filled regions, text etc and the model

It's not that far by the look of it, unless you model is a town.  What is the distance from the furthest point to the origin?

By the way, you could link the model to a new file, move the link, and bind it.  But you will lose all phasing and documentation.

I agree with @ToanDN; the IO doesn't appear to be that far away from the Model in your Screenshot.  Plus, if it was modeled that way, I would imagine it wasn't a problem before - unless that's the reason you were handed the Project.

You say you are having issues with this model that you have to work around.  Can you give us more specifics about these issues and workarounds?  Maybe there's another way to resolve.  Might not even be related to the Internal Origin. Might be something else.  Know what I mean?
