Your rivet library is in desperate need of an overhaul, the standard library is very unorganized and not very intuitive when finding different components.
The way to set up title blocks in this program is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever experienced, that in itself makes me want to move back to Archicad24.
Being able to rotate on the Y and x axis would be massively beneficial, you have a way to do this easily with some models, but it’s **** near impossible with others. Don’t even get me started on families. it’s incredibly unintuitive and again I have to take multiple extra steps just to spin and object on the Y axis as opposed to the X axis. When I click that rotate button I want a simple option for me to select which axis I’m spinning on.
You may disagree, But just so you know half the time I feel like I’m using a program that was developed by people who have no understanding of what user-friendly software means. I’ve been doing this for a while, and I am really good at working with computers. So you should seriously take that criticism to heart. I could go on and on about this program, there are many many things I like about it once I figured out how to use it, but even still I find myself questioning why in the world was it so difficult to get it set up like this.

In all honesty from top to bottom your entire system needs to be revamped to be more user-friendly. If it’s not obvious enough if you have multiple clients asking questions on Google and no one getting any real answers or set definitive way to do things then you should know you have a user-friendly issue. and oh my God y’all have got to make it to where when I make my materials transfer to every single project, without your stupid template stuff getting in the way. You know computers are finicky and doing things like this has always created issues for me, even if it’s due in part to user error you’ve got to understand that saving a template on one screen and trying to get it set up for another project and transferring it over and realizing you missed an entire section that needs to be updated when if I could’ve just had all the materials that I already created automatically save to any project that I use hop on my new project and then customize it as I need to. Oh I want to add another material oh I am working on a project isn’t a deadline I need to keep updating materials oh I made a new materials I need to keep updating them on this project due today, oh I have to update my template so I don’t forget later. That’s annoying
Wow…. I sense much frustration.
You are not the 1st Revit user to experience difficulty as it is a very powerful, complex program.
So calm down, slow down, dig in, get some training and/or pay your dues by yourself by being self-taught, and join the rest of the community in the AEC industry in using Revit/BIM.
Comparing Revit to "XXX Cad" or other software won't do much good here. Ask specific questions, one at a time, and you will get answers quickly.
Compile a huge rant, and you'll get ignored quickly.
And your specific question is...?????
FYI---Transfer Project Standards makes it a quick, simple operation to copy many things automatically from one project to another.
Maybe I answered one of your questions?
