I m sure lots of you have this situation: very often in ada restroom plans we end up with crowded dimensions, clearances, etc. and find out the elevation call outs is on the way of all of that, and moving it a little wd make the plan so much cleaner.
But moving it means making multiple adjustments to related elevations, etc. and most of the time I just, err...just leave it..
I wonder if there is a way/work around to move the callouts without moving the actual elevations (lines). Yes, I m talking about the call-out with 4 pointers. Thx

Just select "Reference Other View" when you create an elevation and pick the desired elevation, then add the other ones by clicking on the symbol.
On the left is the original with the actual elevations, on the right the symbol that you can move around to your heart's content.
Switch the "SIM" off in type properties.
Hide the original. I prefer to use the "Hide at scales coarser than"
You can select and move the symbol without affecting the actual elevations.
