I would like to know how to change the Horizon Line default level.
When I set up perspectives to be rendered, there is always a distinct horizon line. This site has existing topography, so I don't want to raise the topo in the background to hide the plane. Extending the topo boundary does not work and I'd prefer not to lower my view point in the perspective. Using the gradient options only works in the shaded view, not the rendering. If I could lower the horizon by 15', then it would not be visible in rendered perspectives.
Any help would be much appreciated!
this is a good one. I don't know of any modification to the render properties to do this, perhaps a dev or more experienced Revit Render Engine expert could chime in here on how to change a setting to move the "ground plane" so the horizon is lower.
If you want to use a brute force method you could consider the steps below Hide then render the background crop and reuse it in the background render image... if this will get you what you are after.
